What can I use a LUMEFIT chest light for?

Our chest lights provide hands-free lighting for running, dog walking, hiking and everyday outings after dark. The front light illuminates your route, while the reflective harness helps make you more noticeable when caught by another light source.
Will it light up the path ahead?

Yes. Every model has a white front LED designed to illuminate the ground ahead. Brightness and beam distance vary by model, so check the individual product specifications when choosing your light.
What’s the difference between the models?

All models offer an adjustable beam, reflective straps and USB-C charging. They differ in brightness, battery capacity, runtime, lighting modes and rear-light features.

The JR0901 provides up to 500 lumens, the JR0906 up to 800 lumens, and the JR0908 and JR0908BL up to 900 lumens. Compare runtime as well as brightness to choose the right light for your outings.
Can I adjust the beam angle?

Yes. Tilt the front light up or down to direct the beam where you need it—closer to your feet or further along the path. Aim it down
when approaching other people to help reduce glare.
Can I change the brightness or lighting mode?

Yes. The JR0901 and JR0906 have high and low brightness settings. The JR0908 and JR0908BL front lights offer High, Medium and Flash modes. Use the controls described in your model’s instruction manual to select your preferred setting.
Is the harness adjustable?

Yes. The straps adjust around your body to create a comfortable, secure fit. Adjust them over the clothing you plan to wear, keeping the harness snug without restricting breathing or movement.
Can I wear it over a jacket?

Yes, provided the harness fits comfortably over your layers. Adjust the straps after putting on your jacket, and keep the front light and reflective detailing uncovered.
Will it bounce or move when I run?

A correctly adjusted harness helps reduce bouncing. The beam will still move naturally with your torso as you run. If the light shifts excessively, check the strap adjustment and fit before continuing.
How is a chest light different from a head torch?

A chest light keeps your hands and head free, with the lamp supported by a harness around your body. Its beam follows your torso rather than your gaze, so turn your body when you need to illuminate an area to the side.
How long does the battery last?

Runtime depends on the model and selected mode:

  • JR0901: 3–6 hours.
  • JR0906: 4–8 hours.
  • JR0908 and JR0908BL front light: .5–5 hours.
  • JR0908BL rear light: 6–19 hours.

The JR0908BL’s front and rear lights have separate batteries. The rear light’s longer runtime does not extend the front light’s runtime. Fully charge your light before longer outings.
